Palazzo Carignano is home to the oldest museum on the history of Italian unification, the only one with “national” status due to the importance, richness and representativeness of its collections.
Designed in the second half of the 1600s by Guarino Guarini, the Palazzo is regarded as one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Europe.
