VISITING THE PALACE
Occupying a total area of around 10,000 m2, the building focuses its attention on the great names of the 20th century who, with their different styles and perspectives, immortalised and offered their take on the events of the ‘Age of Extremes’: from Mark Rothko and Stanley Kubrick to Mario Ceroli, Bill Viola, Giorgio De Chirico and Alexander Calder, and not forgetting the exponents of the American avant-garde and socialist realism.
There is lots of emphasis on photography with exhibitions dedicated to Robert Doisneau, the photographers of National Geographic, Mimmo Jodice, Helmut Newton and the great reports that provided us with some of the most famous images in history, from the Mexican Revolution to the Prague Spring.
The packed programme of activities offers lots of variety with art and science exhibitions, photo and graphic design exhibitions, film festivals, conferences and presentations.
Visiting Palazzo delle Esposizioni is a unique experience. Don’t miss this trip into the heart of contemporary Rome. Let’s stay in touch!
