The Jewish Cemetery is located between Via Cammeo and Piazza dei Miracoli and is visible from the top of the Ancient Walls, it is probably the oldest Jewish nucleus in Tuscany.
Used since 1674, it was preceded by at least three other Jewish cemeteries of which some epigraphic traces remain on the Walls. It is a historical document that reflects four centuries of life of the Pisan Jewish settlement: from 1600 to the terrible period of the Nazi-Fascist persecutions. Join our visit, you will discover all the events of this monument symbol of local Jewish life!
You can also complete your experience by visiting the Synagogue.
